Biblical Guidance
Believing that it is the true Word of God, we look to the Holy bible as our “instruction manual for life.”  The bible contains the foundation upon which we seek to build our lives. (2 Tim. 3:16)
    
Corporate Worship
We encourage consistent attendance to weekly worship services in obedience to God’s instruction of not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.   (Heb. 10:25)

Personal and Corporate Bible Study
We encourage each member to develop and participate in personal and corporate bible study in order to grow into a mature servant of God. (2 Tim. 2:15)

Consistent Prayer
Each member is encouraged to establish and maintain a consistent prayer life, which is our lifeline to our Father God. (1 Thes. 5:17, 1 Tim. 1:1; Eph. 6:18)

Spiritual Maturity
Just as a baby in the natural is developed and nurtured in anticipation of physical maturity, we encourage life-long spiritual growth and development in each member.  Our lives as believers take us through many stages and paths as we learn to grow and mature spiritually.  (Eph. 4:14-15)

Uniqueness of Each Individual
We believe that although every believer is a part of the body of Christ, each person is unique and important in the sight of God.  It is for this reason that we encourage each member to discover, develop, and put to godly use any talent, or ability he or she has. (Rom. 12:4-8)
    
Godly Acceptance
We embrace all who come to our church; ethnic, cultural, educational, political, and economic diversity is welcomed at the House of Love Church. (Col. 3:11 (b); Rom. 2:11)

What We Believe
We believe that the entire bible was inspired by God and is the absolute, inerrant, and final Word of God by which every Christian should pattern their life. 
 
We believe that there is one God, the Creator of all things, that He is infinitely Holy and perfect, and that He exists in the form of three distinct persons -  The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe in the nature of Christ and that Jesus Christ is completely God and completely man.
 
We believe that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; that Jesus lived a life without sin, died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
 
We believe that every believer is called to live through the power of the Holy Spirit, so that they will not fulfill the lust of the flesh, but will bear fruit to the glory of God through their God given gifts, abilities and purpose.
 
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore separated from God, yet through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross, mankind can be saved from their sins. Salvation and eternal life is freely given to everyone through faith in Jesus Christ when they accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
 
Salvation is given by God. By grace and through faith mankind can be saved. Salvation cannot be earned by works.
 
We believe that, baptism and observance of the Lord's Supper are symbolic acts of obedience, which outwardly express an inward transformation and memorialize the death of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
